Welcome to West Coast Candle Company! What makes regular candles unsafe for pets? Most candles contain ingredients that are toxic to our pets. The harmful chemicals emitted while burning can irritate our pets' sensitive respiratory systems, irritating their lungs and airways.

Our candles, however, are all natural and never made with any harmful ingredients. Let's talk about the wax. Did you know that many of the most popular candle brands out there use paraffin in their wax (even if they don't explicitly say so)? Super cheap to produce, paraffin is a fossil fuel derived from petroleum and is widely believed to be toxic to burn. It's also extremely unsustainable. Needless to say, paraffin was on our "NO" list from the get-go.

This led to the discovery of our special blend of pure soy wax, made from only USA-grown soybeans. It left us with a candle that burns beautifully and is devoid of the harmful ingredients that are so common in this industry. Our candles are 100% soy wax, clean-fragrance, all-natural, safe for all pets, and paraffin-free.

We've kicked out anything that doesn't pass the test. Your space and pets deserve the best, and that's exactly what we're pouring into every candle. You will never find the following ingredients in our products: parabens, phthalates, paraffins, petroleum, dyes, formaldehyde, loral, polycyclic musks, UV blockers, direct smr's, and nitromusks.
